Questions

FAQ

How long does a custom Berg Bat take?

Custom bats take 2–4 weeks to build. Need one sooner? Our stock bats are finished and ready to ship off the rack.

What woods do you use?

Maple, birch, and ash. Every billet is hand-graded, and we only use pro-grade wood.

Do you make softball bats too?

Yes. We make wood bats for both baseball and softball.

Can I design my own bat?

Yes. Our 3D Bat Builder lets you choose the wood, finish, colors, flame, trademark, and engraving, and you can turn the bat in full 3D. Then we hand-build the exact bat you designed.

What's the difference between Legacy Series and Raw Series?

Legacy Series is fully custom. Raw Series is "Good Wood. Less Custom." It's the same quality wood with fewer options to choose from.

Do you have bats ready to ship?

Yes. Stock bats, stock fungos, and stock trainers are finished and ready to ship.

Do you make fungos and training bats?

Yes. We make Pro Fungos, plus trainers built to help you build a better swing, in custom and off-the-rack versions.

Do you do team orders?

Yes. We build bats for teams, and team stores keep approved Berg bats with your logo available year-round. Players choose the specs that fit them.

Do your bats come with a warranty?

Berg Bat offers a 30-day warranty: if your Berg Bat breaks within 30 days of delivery, verify the serial and submit a complete claim on our warranty page. We usually review complete claims within two business days. That said, no wood bat is unbreakable, and any wood bat can still break. What we control is the wood: every billet is hand-graded, and we only use pro-grade wood.

Who makes Berg Bats?

Trevor Goldberg founded Berg Bat in 2010 while he was a varsity catcher at Air Academy High School. Every bat is still handmade in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
